I'm trying to replace the Bearings and Seals of the front wheels and rear carrier on a VERY neglected 2003 Blaster. Everything is stock, nothing's ever been replaced!
Trouble is, some things are a bit too damaged to read part numbers off, and here in SA wheel bearing kits are generally only available from Yamaha themselves and therefore cost slightly more than the Moon.
I've pieced together some information from the web and some actual sizes, but I need some help filling in some blanks, or I'm completely stuck...
Front Wheel Hub:
- Inner Bearing - 6004, OD-42 x ID-20 x w-12 mm - Confirmed
- Inner Seal - SDD2 26 42 7 Triple Lip Seal - Confirmed
- Outer Bearing - 6202, OD-35 x ID-15 x w-11 mm - Confirmed
- Outer Seal - SD 22 35 7-1 Double Lip Seal - Confirmed
Rear Carrier:
- Sprocket side Bearing - 6007-2RS, OD-62 x ID-35 x w-14 mm
- Sprocket side Seal - 42 62 8 Lip Seal
- Brake side Bearing - 6007-2RS, OD-62 x ID-35 x w-14 mm
- Brake side Seal - 42 62 8 Lip Seal
EDIT: If they're the same as the Raptor 660, then I found a thread that says both carrier bearings are 6007-2RS and both Seals are 42 62 8 lip seals. Nobody seems able or willing to help, so I've ordered bearings and will confirm parts once I've checked the fit; hopefully it helps someone else out later.
Some parts are missing as I haven't managed to remove the bearings from the carrier yet. Trust me though, they will be unreadable
Can anyone confirm that these are the right parts, or fill in the gaps for me?
