i just wanted to clear up my confusion on reeds. well first off how do they work? and does anyone have a diagram of what all the parts of reeds are called? And if my cylinder is currently bored to 68mm what would be the next size up i could have KOR bore it to and what size piston would i buy? what is good about getting a cylinder ported, whats a high performance crank i could get? also if i got it ported what other stuff would i need to buy to suit the extra power?

I could be wrong but I think your at your last bore, boring usually goes by .010 and wiseco offers 8 sizes ( standard 66mm - .080 over which I think is 68mm ). If that's the case you need to buy a new sleeve and have it pressed on by a machinist and you'll be back to standard 66mm bore. Porting your cylinder is the best way to increase hp/cc's for the money. Having someone like ken port it for you gives you the option of porting to match your riding style. You can get + 1,2,3 etc. Cranks but I've heard you usually have to have your case trenched to accomodate the plus sized cranks. With either of those mods it would be a good idea to advance your timing/port timing to take full advantage of the extra power mods. As said before use the " search " function on here and you'll find just about anything you have questions on.

Port work :) also, no need to trench cases up to a +3. The +4 timing mod will work with or without any type of big mods. I did mine and you see where I'm at mod wise. Nice little pick me up and it's realitively easy to do. Besides, u don't HAVE to go +4, some guys on here have done +3 and had great results. Search tab is your Friend!
