I made the wise decision of waiting for my leakdown tester before I did anything more than putt around the yard on my new piston. Finally got the tester and no lie... I got nothing, zero, zilch and I have no chance of getting any help until the weekend. So I cant have someone pumping it furiously while i spray around everything looking for the problem. How can I do this by myself?
Yes I rebuilt this myself
Yes it was my first top end rebuild
Couple issues to consider.. I did not use a flat plate to put between the rubber and the exhaust plate fitting thing (help me out here I dont know what its called) will this make a difference?
I have a theory or 2 but I want to hear what you guys think

i am lost. so when you pump it up, you have zero psi?
ya something is majorly wrong.
make sure you put the tester in right.
make sure all your gaskets are tight.
you have pictures of you testing it?

is the tester the rights size to fit in the rubber intake... you should have some pressure something might be wrong with ur hook up id check that out and redo the test and what are you talking about the exhaust? is the exhaust hooked up to it?

you got pictures? something sounds wrong.
try this, spray everything with soapy water first, then pump it up.
