exhaust polishing?

ordering an F7 exhaust in about a week when tax returns come, prolly goin with the stock silver for the silencer, but i seen someone on here with an fmf all polished up lookin like chrome, looks sick as hell! but, i wanna see if it would work on an F7 but i dont wanna ruin the nice finish on it, just wanna see if anyone has done it before

polish it like any other metal, if the silencer is aluminum it can be made to look like a mirror very easy

any silencer polished looks sweet... i had a like 12 year old fmf powercore i polished a few years back but i cant find pictures of it

I polished my power pros silencer with just mothers, wasn't a mirror but was nice- I don't have a pic and right now it's dirty. But it was easy to do, just alot of elbow and wrist work , just like wackin off!~!

polishing wheels on a dremal work wonders with mothers on new mewtal

thats what i did with my throttle cover, polished it up with a dremmel and mothers, looks great, taped and painted around the yamaha red and painted the bolts red, then toped it off with some clear.. looks great in my opinion! not the best work but adds a little touch!

Send me your new silencer, I'll polish it to a mirror finish, then chrome it. It will stay looking like that for a very long time.

i did my fmf with some 0000 steel wool then mothers mag and aluminum and heres what it looks like
