Guys,
My son's got an '06 with Standard Travel elkas up front. He has a +2 LSR swinger with a stock rear shock. Right now we can't adjust the preload low enough so the ride height is correct, it sits too high in the rear and because he is only 100 lbs it's too stiff for him. I am looking at a pretty good deal on a LT Elka Elite that is 17". I was wondering if anyone knew if this shock can be adjusted enough to provide the right ride height? At 17" it's longer than the stock so I was thinking it would not, but when I put the fronts on it lowered the quad a lot. I had to adjust the pre load a lot to bring it up. What do you think?

How much is the shock? If its a reallllly good deal i say go for it.... 17" is a little long like awk said.... It WILL soften it up alot but will raise the rear a little to much :)

I thought it would raise it too much even though it was made for a blaster it's LT. If I go with a standard travel Elka I should be able to set the preload to where I want it right? Funny thing is I did not have this problem with the stock swinger, it only happened when I put the +2 LSR swinger on. for some reason is raised the rear about two inches.
