yeah thats not bad.. i dont know how much you have thought about the subject, but gearing plays a big role.

i have thought about it but it seems i get mixed reviews. in my mind gearing lower will make me faster but some like gearing higher for less shifting. i dunno. im running 14-40 with 20" tires and i start off in 2nd gear and i like it.

imo its all testing and tuning, 14-40 is a great trail ratio but prob not going to cut it for drags, also it all depends on what your specific motor can pull effectively. if you want to keep a 14t up front throw a 38 in the rear

a little update here i was able to put on a nology coil and ended up changing the intake setup to a pod filter directly onto the carb. had to do a little cutting with the sawzall to get the pod filter to clear the frame... seems to be running much better! its rich now with the 180 like it should be, gotta swap some jets working my way down slow till she is juuuuust right!! slades on the 15 for another race, maybe even a 1/8th mile asphault tomorow. will get some more pics and hopefully a vid or 2.

Yea, If you do the 1/8 i want to know a time if you get a chance. The drag strip i went to a few weeks ago was way to busy to really get to make more than a couple runs ( I only run the truck ), it was kind of sh*tty but a large crowd and lots of quick cars and bikes. Only saw a few atvs. You still going to busco for the BansheeHQ meet. I plan on going saturday just to bs and look at some nice quads and watch some races.

hellz yeah im die hard, ill be at busco for sure... wish i had the banshee running though! as long as i get to ride ill have my fix. hopefully i get to run tonight and ill be sure and share some times. yesterday i had a cdi box go out on me. you know how hard it is to figure that out? i swapped everything on the bike out before i figured that one out. 5 hrs labor swapping parts. carb, flywheel, stator, 2 coils, testing again and again. i even got a bare spot on my head from scratching it... thinking wtf! it just cut off on me when i was testing out the jetting and then kept backfiring and sputtering. by the time i finally swapped that cdi out it started 1st kick!!

thanks dude! i plan on painting the a arms but im tossing around the idea to make it a ridgid setup by welding chromoly tubing to spindles with spindle mount wheels.

nice! thats what it needs man! be aware of the jetting. its going to get alot more air than that that other tiny filter.

that looks similar to the sized used in cfm's? am i right? i went from a pod like your old one but uni to a cfm. WOW
