Diving in balls deep

No new updates. Been getting a lot of small parts in mail. Been too busy with plowing and sleeping to do anything. I found some pics of when i first got it on my phone.
Looks good man. I have a street bike that some idiot rebuilt with RTV, it balled off and plugged the oil pick-up and galleys (little carb jet looking things that meter oil flow) It cost me over $1500 to rebuild. I've been using the gray Permatex MotoSeal they sell at O'Reillys for a few years now and it works great.
Lol. Sounds like another idiot got ahold of an engine. I dont think ive used the permatex yet, ill try it after the stuff im using is gone.
UPDATE:
Bought some black on black nerf bars, black sprocket, lots of other misc stuff, waiting for it all to get here. Shipped top end and crank off to Ken. Gonna start cleaning bottom end and installing new seals. Ill have pics up shortly.

Zx7 Master cylinder im using for rear brake setup. Gotta fab a bracket to hold it in place.
After a few days in tub full of degreaser, they were ready for paint.

Still cold as hell, paint takes forever to dry.
34mm Keihin carb and nerf bars should be here this week. Engine will be back next week from KOR.
Tomorrow ill probably start to re-assemble rear end. Ill have lots of pics posted.

Today was a good day.
Nerf bars showed up. I haven't been into offroad in awhile, so im not familiar with all the good companys. I found these on ebay for $90 shipped. There awesome. Came with all hardware, spacers for engine bolt, nice finish and they super light.
Cleaned up the case halves at work in solvent tank. Got em as clean as im gonna get em.
Keihin 34mm carb showed. This thing is HUGE!
Other sh*t going on...Sent money out to Ken. Can't wait to get the crank n top end back.

While im doing this blaster, i decided to re-do my garage. Tired of cold winters, and it being a mess. Ripping out walls and old insulation. Blowing in the ceiling/attic and walls. Then putting up drywall. Taking all parts and organizing them into bins to put in basement.

Those nerfs are nice.Exact same as the tusk nerfs,very affordable and have lasted me 4 years and still going.I:I Carb looks very nice.Did you get it straight from sudco?The pj's are a great carb and work very well.Some have problems tuning them and give up,but once jetted right they work superb.Looking good.
lolToday keeps getting better. Just won some Vforce3 reeds, brand new on ebay for $100. And sold my stock rear caliper to some kid locally for $50!!
for a little over 25 more dollars you couldve had brand new vf4's. But either way those are both decent deals!
