Dakotademon7's build gone addictive

I have almost every thing I need. Compresser and a full size and amdetIl gun. I needmto get an online dryer and some cheap paint. I'm getto. I always used rattle cans. Lol. I'll have to spray some scape to get the feel for it. I've done some cars with one of them rechargeable spray cans. Looked just like factory paint job.

dakotademon7 build. F#cking up the ozone one can at a time.

I seen Eastwood has a paint kit that looks just like Crome. It's not that sorry looking fake crap that you can get at walmart. I've seen the same thing on a custom car build show before. It looks like real chrome. I'm thinking of doing it to my frame next fall.

If you got the money go PC for sure. I aint real fond of eastwood stuff, its kind of low budget stuff. I have bought paint from them to do a single stage paint job on a pick-up and it came out OK, but i like a great job.

I am a big fan of base clear and i know its pricey but you get what you pay for. Spray cans do a great job but just dull quick for my likeing and don't hold up. I sprayed my Dodge in the pic with black base clear and it shines like a dream, i just love that black.

awsome job neil, only thing i see i'd change is possibly that rear brake line, when the suspension compreeses will it pinch that line ??? i run and ty-rap mine behind the shock pivot

and gonna be a damn shame when all that pretty work gets tore up from you TRYIN to keep up with me at "awks wild ride III" baaaaaaahahahahaaaaaa

I want to upgrade to a braided line for the rear to match the front. Ide like to paint the rear Caliber red and the master cylinder black. I was going to paint the awk brakets but they so nice as is that I'm just going to clear coat them.

ya. I just have it in tamperary. I'm ether going to sleeve it or do a bigger pin depending on if I can find something that will work as a sleeve. If not then a bigger pin. I'm not going to run it that way.

The main thing is to get it back together and work out the little details over the winter. I don't want parts sitting around to and up getting lost.

Update.got some nice stuff on the way. Scored a brand new Boss racing billet axle lock nut for $21.95 shipped.scored some nice YFZ heel guards for $24.05 shipped. Will add picks when they arrive.
