FMF Fatty as a matter of fact the wife was out polishing the pipe lolView attachment 24033Way to start off a build, great job ! You really aren't going to realize it is a Blaster anymore by the way it handles and with the xtra ponies and all. I also dig the Black and Yellow color scheme..
What pipe will you be running?

With the head rechamber you dont want to run +4 advance. detonation can occur.I also did the timing advance modView attachment 24036
That's exactly what I did. I feel a lot safer! With the head rechamber you dont want to run +4 advance. detonation can occur.
i believe the last person that had +4 before the head work switched his to +2 to be safe with it
Thanks for the advice...time to pop the flywheel back offThat's exactly what I did. I feel a lot safer!
If you are referring to the guy that wrecked the quad, he was no friend of mine but friends with my son in law and daughter. ...needless to say we won't be leaving any quads with them next timeSounds like you need a friend check!
I would like to check that out...KOR was just finishing up the top end today and getting it ready to ship back...can't waitIf you are a bit handy, which you seem by going by the looks of the build. You should read a little on squish and how to check it etc. It's fairly easy and can be done with some plumbers solder a little elbow grease, and a flat file, some sand paper and a thicker piece of glass.
Setting the squish correctly will untap some xtra ponies you have. You can do this before you decide to do the head rechamber and it is something you can easily do yourself. (you are basically just filing off a little material on the head where it mates to the head gasket).
If interested I can post some links on the subject and maybe even a how to..
Everyone should really be doing this. It's free power..
Thanks Charles, we will be up there the week of August 1stBike looks great so far! I have never really been a quad kind of guy until I picked up my project blaster (we'll see how it goes lol), but always rode our dirt bikes and snowmobiles around Lakes of the North, Mancelona, Lewiston areas. Good Times.
We fellow Michiganders should plan a ride some weekend.
