my nephew clutch is slipping in the higher gears. The clutch is wore out. Order a new Ebc kit. My question is the little ring that goes in after the second friction disc, do you still use it on a after market clutch kit. When i took his a part to look at it didnt have it in it. The spare motor that i have had the ring in the clutch. Thanks for the help in advance

If you mean the wavy ring then that is to assist in shiftingits not really needed but if you take it out you are suppose to rplace it with either another fiber plate or another steel plate cant remember which tho

you do not need that wave ring.
you can do either..... replace it with a full size fiber,
or just leave it out and use the larger ID. fiber it fits inside.

The purpose of the wavy ring is to cushion the clutch motion and eliminate some of the "shock" when changing gears, you do not miss it at all though and for better friction capacity, replace it as Awk mentioned.
