alrighty im new to workin on blasters and seen that you guys got alot of great ideas about polishing clutch covers. i wanna do it to mine this week but it looks complicated and a long process to take the cover off.. anyone got a step by step easy way to deal with takin it off??

drain the oil, remove the footpeg, remove the kicker, then all the screws around the outside perimeter, and pull it, use a new gasket to re-install

its very easy even for a new guy to do... polishing it is time consuming but well worth it... use medium grit sandpaper to strip the paint or brass wire wheel brushes then use increasingly finer grit paper to smooth it all out. then use black or brown polishing compound and some cotton wheels for a dremmell tool and buff buff buff buff buff till it shines
