Check out my new score!!

i had a couple guys offer basket case motors, but they werent even sure what parts were missing. and i had two guys with complete bikes but i didnt want to spend 1200 on a nice bike where i only want the motor and wiring...

But look at this way, ppl have and still do pay a minimum of 894.40 according to my ebay research for a running DT200 engine w/ Stator and harness (not including powervalve servo motor, pv controller, rectifier, battery, etc. A non WR(3ET)200 powervalve servo motor w/ wires and controller goes for 220-400 in working condition on ebay, ebay.uk, ebay... etc. You scored good man.

No no, an empty coolant jacket acts as an insulator. The engine would overheat even if the coolant system was just running low, not even empty as the coolant wouldn't spend enough time in the radiator to cool down properly.

I was being sarcastic bro. I:I

I have seen people limp Shees and whatnot back to base after they lost coolant. Just keep the RPMs down and don't go crazy.....obviously don't go for a ride like that, but they limped them back with no probs.

Jeeze that makes me want to just part this bike out haha

well it ended up being a blizzard out today so i decied to tear into the DT
One thing i noticed is THE SWINGARM BOLT IS GREASABLE! so the motor came out easy!
Also a few other things i noticed.
-Oil pump is some how acuated by the throttle cable(theres a splitter)
-one stock dt200 rad is enough to cool this motor(not 2 like it says in mcdizzys write up)
-I can wire up a Tach and Coolant temp gauge
-My blaster will have a horn!
-it has some kind of boost bottle looking thing(ontop of intake mani)
-Battery is tiny, easily mountable!(brand new one on this bike)

Here is some better pics those ones are really blurry.
I have everything off the Dt that i need to do the swap now.
Look at this wiring harness its pretty complex compared to the blasty , but lots of it is uneeded. Ya thats a horn!

Here is all the parts for the swap minus the radiator

chain look good, was it towards the front of the adjustment on the swinger? Does it have 114links or more?

Well then you are back to square one and running an air cooled engine again. I:I

It's not a big deal as long as it's sealed up. Even then you can limp then back for a quick fix.

not really, a liquid cooled motor has no fins or real surface area for convective heat transfer to occur over... so yeah, itd over heat real quick
