Just to let you guys know, I changed from an LRD pipe to a toomey b1. What a difference, The toomey has more useable power across the whole rpm range, Im so glad I made the swap.

The only mods I have are,

Boyseen Power reeds and no airbox lid and filter,

So for anyone who has a stockish blaster like me, Get the toomey!

Am running the toomey with a 310 in it, And I ran the Lrd with a 270.

The Lrd was better than the stock pipe but the toomey is miles in front. Its got much more low end and mid range and abit more top end. I think the lrd would be more suited to a modded bike. To be honest, I never really liked the lrd.

Maybe your should learn how to jet your own bike before trying to help somone. Maybe U should sit back and learn something, instead of talking BS on ES2
Put your the type of guy will never get it,,,,,

i thought you were done with this kind of crap? 8-| kinda what i thought...... glad you're happy with your new pipe dude, kinda weird hearing someone knock a LRD though lol.

now i'm starting to see even if warned about this or asked to stop flaming members simply keep on flaming or fighting... well put the toys away PLAYTIME IS OVER! as red forman says it. i am fed up with this sh*t from now on anybody arguing or causing threads to be closed will get infractions or the temp ban hammer.. this has to stop.. i don't care how old you are arguing is arguing.. simply prevent urself from making a post or keyboard racing if you do not like what was written in a thread.. LAST WARNING FOR ALL"

i guess this will never stop will it

Yeah ino, Everyone tells me that the LRD is the best and what not, Maybe I just got a bad one lol? Can you get bad pipes? But as I said, I only have basic mods, so maybe the LRD will come alive with more mods?

yeah a LRD will take over once you get some serious mods going, i have a Right bend power pros and with a modded engine it is amazeing i would love to have a lrd but daaaaamn they are pricey lol.

When I picked up this blaster it had a FMF fatty Gold and PowerCore 2 silencer, stock carb, stock main jet, stock filter, stock everything.

I put rear tires on it, a K&N filter and bumped the main to a #265...
It was a great trail package and had alot of fun low and mids, for sure, as to why I always mention that as opposed to completely knocking the FMF pipes.

Now, once I went with 30mm fuel, new reeds/spacer, open air box, UNI filter, #330 main, cdi/coil and added the TOOMEY B1, whoa, COMPLETELY different bike. TONS of usuable power everywhere, and a whole new top end. Changed gearing to 14/40, and this bike does not compare to what it was before...

Just giving TOOMEY props where props is in order. I know there are alot of quality pipes, left and right bend, especially when you get into some fine head and cylinder work, BB's, etc. But, for good mods on a stock bore, etc, the Toomey B1 is a fantastic all around pipe kit.

by all means, not starting another pipe war, just commenting for Toomey personal feedback...

+2 for a good all around QUALITY BUILT pipe!! Sounds like everyone likes the toomey b1and are all happy with the performance too. Thing about a toomey is they give you the power AND the crisp sound you want.
