I just got a jet kit and know to check the spark plug color and all that from other articles on here. But I'm afraid that to mess up the carb when I take it apart. Are there any diagrams or anywhere I ought to look to help me with that?Just want to make sure that I don't mess anything up with it.

Any suggestions to make sure that I don't mess it up. I've taken apart a CR carb but I just want to be sure and have some diagrams to do it.

Also might be picking up a KX250 with a carb slide stuck, should I just go for a new (used) carb or see what is making it stick.

Thanks guys.

You guys were right, it is really easy to change the jets out. The vito kit that I got came with decent instructions too. Had some trouble finding the pilot jet though. Changing the needle is a pain the butt too.

I'm still not getting the mid range that I want and need, it still is just running pretty flat and needs a little more... umph I guess. That means that I need to move the clip up right to get it running a little leaner? I've got a 300 jet in it which I think is a little large but it is the second smallest the kit came with. Also it has a 30 pilot from the kit and stock was a 32.5. should I put the 32.5 back in and take down the main jet to 290 and move the clip up? If it helps any I've got an fmf system on it and a K&N filter.
