hey guys my carb keeps gettin flooded it took it apart and rebuilt it but gas still keeps pouring out of it when i try to start it. any ideas on what it could be?

yeah the float in your carb bowl is out of adjustment. there is a little tab that needs to be bent upwards a tiny bit.

^ +1!!! on the float close to its pivot point there are two little paper clip lookin peices of metal. bend them up and make sure the pin the metal is attatched to goes up with the bowl. if it doesn't after doing that then your carb will probably need to be cleaned and rebuilt.

20 - 21.5 mm to the top of the floats, measured from where the gasket sits, when the floats are just touching the inner pin of the float needle

you can also spin the carb, remove the bowl, hold the floats closed, turn the fuel back and start lowering the floats, the fuel should not flow while they are level with the bottom of carb, but start flowing once you let them fall a little

i just rebuilt it tho so i dont understand even tho its rebuilt could there still be stuff in the needle seat. becasue the circular thing that moves up and down when releasing and twisting the throttle is not all the way down. should it be?

Ok, I don't know if this belongs here or not because i'm new...., but here is my problem. I just bought 97 blaster......it cranks yes but the throttle can only go a little way because if i give it gas all the way it boggs down so i cant do nothing with it???? whats the problem?

starting your own thread is always a good option.. but anyhow firts things first is your tors and parking brake still hooked up? they are 2 very problamatic electrical systems that cause unbelieveable problems...

no my parking break isn't hooked up....i have the wire i think still on there.

and my tors is hooked up but its also like my throttle is super loose
