okay guys! I got my Blaster put back together! I need to know whats wrong with it.....When I start it up it idles extremely high. almost as if the throttle is pinned! Maybe its the TORS? I was gonna order the motion pro eliminator kit anyways but, it just idles really really high!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

deff lean or air leak....like 305 said what is the pilot and where is the air screw set at...1.5 turn out should be a good starting point

Yes, the air screw is 1.5 turns out, the pilot is stock in my Mikuni 26mm (32.5). I dont know what to do.....I tightened down my head bolts and cylinder bolts to make sure there is nothing to leak....I didnt use any silicone or gasket maker on the jug......if that has anything to do with anything.......MAKE MY BLASTER RUN GUYS!!!!!!!!!

did you have the carb apart??? make sure the slide is in correctly, mine did that when i had the sldie in wrong, the needle didnt go down into the jet and was holding the slide open, work your throttle and see if you can hear it going up and down and that the cap is on tight

x2 could be a stuck slide. and make sure that the intake boot isn't ripped or damaged. is it sealing to the reed cage?

I ahve new gaskets! Is it mandatory that i didnt use any silcone or gasket-maker on the cylinder or head????? Its probably a stuck slide guys....buy i can give it full throttle.....it will let me push the thottle in w/out a problem.....Hopefully i can get it fixed!!!! Thanks guys...

dont use gasket sealer just the gaskets themselves....look in the carb and see if the slide it just a hair short of closed

when i got new gaskets it said on instuctions that the cylinder head gasket you need to use gasket maker or silicon because it is a copper gasket.

there is no need for sealer i asked angus about this and he said no sealer

So, can you take a picture of what position the slide should be in?????and my idle screw on the TORS is a piece!!!! I Wish i wasn't short on money....I just bought D.I.D. chain and sprockets.....Is it mandatory that the cylinder bolts are torqued? I just tightened them til' i couldn't tighten it anymore....

the slide will go in both ways one way it will sit higher then the other you want it the way so it sits low or just about closed

Oh ok, and that will cause it to run at a really high idle? There is a 1mm spaced line that goes down the side of the slide pointing towards me if im looking directly at the carb....prolly needs to be the other way....

perhaps the accelerator cable when the throttle wide do not let the plow hit the bottom of the carburetor, or have air passage may be in gaskets or damaged then the rubber flange, or a broken reed valve
