:owell, heres another dumb ?? from me......... how in the world do i get my carbcap off?????????? i unscrewed the little L shaped thingy and still it aint budgin! any suggestions with normal around the house tools i could use? i know channel locks ?!?! any suggestions on how to get this carb cap off would be greatly appreciated....... thanks!

it sounds so so so so simple but it aint gonna move!!!!!!! ive tried lotsa times, i dont wanna just pull the carb off the bike and f it up

What do you mean? Take the carb outta the boots, then just get someone to hold the carb and you unscrew it. I agree with the rag thing, but thats only going to make it slip. Just hold it really tight so you dont slip, and you wont get an thread marks.

yeah you need to take the carb off to do that and turn it upside down and take the four golden coloured screws out, being careful not to strip them :) may aswell check your reeds while its open, see what happening in there :)

ok thanks man reps for you once i can give em out again, ive given to many reps in the last 24 hours.......

are yu just jetting?
or are yu adjusting the needle?

take the 4 screws outta the bottom.
get a magnetic jet tool(real handy)
the jet is in the middle a little brass thing.

if your adjusting needle, Just unscrew the top cap.
It should come off with some muscle.
when yu get it off pull it out straight.
you will see a spring and a brass needle.

dont be intimidated by the carb, There alot simpler then people say they are to work on
