car spring compressor

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a car spring compressor would work on our atv shocks to compress them and asjust em b.c i wanna repaint my springs on my works and just clean em up...and then readjust my preload to pretty stiff i was j/w cuz i could get one cheaper then a motorcycle one

Yes they will.
Go get a universal spring compressor from the autoparts store and your good.

Aahahh i didnt even have a concern about that,just wanted them off,had me compress and brother take the holder thingy off.

YEP!, the rear spring eye popped off of the GF's PukeLaris, and I used the one at work to reassemble it after I fixed it

if you have an autozone or advanced auto where you live they have a loaner tool program, just put down a deposit, and get it back when ya return the tool, check it out, save some $$$$$

yea well i got one off ebay for 20 bucks see how it works i figure i could use it on other stuff to bjt my first thing is to clean up my shocks and adjust em all and maybe service em not sure yet might just clean em up and paint em and call it a day
