Cant stop wont stop

So wheel cost me more than i was antisipating. Needs bearings, also is missing a spoke. Since you cant just buy a single spoke for a excel rim with a quick change hub i had to buy a set of 32, and a set of nipples for them. Ill get it back next week.

FMF exhaust showed up. Pretty pumped. Brand new, looks amazing. Only dislike is the american flag incorporated into the logo on silencer. Both pieces came with like 5 FMF stickers tho! Love stickers.

Also got my kill switch for bike, and clutch cover gaskets for blaster.

Usually builders require the piston in hand before the start boring, especially with a forged piston.

Ya i called him. Don't have to send it out, but its better i do. Will ship it out tomorrow.

re-nikasealing the cylinder involves no boring, just chemically remove the old plating, repair any gouges to aluminum cylinder, match those welds to existing bore size and replate, then diamond hone for cross hatching
my buddies ktm144 only offered 1 piston size... stock.
the new plating cannot be thickness adjusted, as far as i know.
1 size bore + plating for 1 size piston.

Right. There are aftermarket pistons for a re-sleeve for my bike, but after doing a lot of research and talking to guys on a diff forum, i decided to get replate vs re-sleeve.

I thought having blaster running while KX is down i would be good, but man i wanna ride the bike so bad, blaster doesn't do it like the bike.

Update:

Didn't want my followers to think this went dead. Still waiting for top end from kor. He called me and said the power valve needed some parts. So I'm hoping next week ill have it back.

Still waiting on rear tire from local shop. Said it would be done by tues. ill give em a call tomorrow.

In the mean time just been cleaning parts. Got bottom end prepped and ready for top end. Gonna take shock linkage apart tomorrow or tonight if I'm bored and check out bearings.

Took shock linkage, and swingarm off tonight. Cleaned gunk off and regreased. Some point new bearings were put in, no way these are stock 97 bearings in good condition.

New wheel bearings and seals, tire, inner tube, and rotor, and 1 new spoke.

Wheel is a excel with talon quick change hub. Pretty much i can take sprocket and hub and swap to either side when tire starts to wear and not have to take tire off to rotate.

Had to get a new clutch actuator arm. Mine was pretty worn.

Old vs new to me used

This is where the old one would make contact with push rod and start to push plates

And this is where the new one starts to push rod, big difference huh? I guess mine was pretty worn.

Contacted the seller of clutch actuator arm, they are sending me a different one. The one they sent is the wrong one.

Orderd a new front sprocket and chain.

Rest of bike is together, just patiently waiting for my top end to come in mail. Ill give Ken a call tomorrow and get an update on it.

I trust you ordered a new rear sprocket as well.

If you put a new chain on an old sprocket it will soon be as bad if not worse than the old one.
