Can't beleive i got a blaster!!!!!

I have been riding all my life,bikes,3-wheelers and quads,numerous yz 250's rm 125 and 250, 83 atc 250r, 86 trx 250r,3 suzuki lt 250r, warriors. And now i have a blaster, go figure? The worst part of it is now iam gonna sell one of my race karts so i can mod this thing up. Any recomendations on front shocks? iam geetin old and cant take that kind of beating anymore. something smooth but trail worthy. This blaster was supose to have a 240 sleave in it. but i dont think so. gotta take the head off and get a bore size.has a pro circut pipe and silencer,if its not a 240 then i will be looking for one, shocks and front plastic needed. any info will be appreciated. Go with maier for plastics, if you want good shocks that wont break the bank then look for a set of works on ebay or buy them brand new for 400.

Thanks,already been shopping around,the worst part about ebay is some of the sellers dont know what the shocks are valved for.

Ya but not matter what they are valved for they are still way better than the stock shocks. Also if you want to get a good cheap shock for the rear you can look at a 400ex or 250r rear shock, there is a guy on here KenOconnor that makes and sells bushings that will allow the shocks to bolt right up

if you want a good ride, best to get some nice shocks. you will want dual rate at least in the front. i would also suggest some +2+1 a-arms. the will increase the comfort of the ride.
an antivibe stem is great.
and maybe a thicker softer seat.

a new set of works from a real works dealer will include a limited time valving/springing warrenty where they will revalve them for free if you are not happy.

Welcome to bf bro if you want some good front shocks I suggest a set of 450r Honda fronts but you will need long travel a arms because they are longer than the stock blaster shocks but are a great alternative to some of the more expensive shocks ne ways have fun and welcome to the forum

I will get pics, Thanks for all the great responses! I have been on quit a few forums, None with this type of responses,and welcoming! I was a member of a suzuki forum for a couple of months and only had a few post's.So that being said, i have a kart up for sale and hope it will sell at the races this weekend, as soon as it does i will be looking for? shocks,240 kit if this one does not have it, didnt tear it apart yet, maybe some arms and some front fenders for starters, iam sure there wil be more to come. so if anybody has any good deals please lmk Thanks,Mike

I went with antivibe stem, and Fasst flexx bars (probably overkill but extremely comfortable). Fasst makes bar inserts that do alot of dampening as well if you are into that need...

A stabilizer would be a good idea too.... My old body does recover as quick as it used to.

Got a kfx 400 rear shock on the way,working on a set of works for the front. tore the head off tonight and mic'ed the cylinder, 67mm so its not a 240 like i was told. what should i do first? stroker crank or 240 setup?

do the stroker first then get a 240 with a port job to match the storker ftw
