What's to be said for the L.A sleeve carried by Rjatv ? i was thinking of goin BB,and when i found it for a touch over $100 i thought damnit man, here is my ticket.I thought i would ask you guy if any had tried it,and what the outcome was. As well as what a average shop charges to install one.

some people like big bore sleeves and others do not. i think that la sleeve makes a good product. Rjatv is a great company to work with, I also like KB Motorsports (call Ken directly and he will hunt down what you need) as they both seem to go above and beyond with fair pricing (may not be the cheapest, but the service is amazing and the pricing is better on some things and a little higher on others compared to lowball internet searches). Most of my experience buying things for my blaster are from KB Motorsports and his site does not list much for them but he has stayed after work to call suppliers to find what i was looking for or to sweet talk manufactures into getting me something one off. my personal belief is that if i am going big bore i will most likely use the la sleeve big bore cylinder kit or the vito's if the la sleeve kit is not available. i have seen a couple big bore kitted stock cylinders that were cracked and this has stuck in the back of my head. but if i were on a very tight budget i would probably do it if i had a trusted builder like the ones on this forum doing the work.

ive heard resleaving a 2 stroke is very expensive which is why most people just look for a good used cylinder when thiers is too messed up. but it seems that $100 for the LA sleeve and even if it was $200 (just a guess) to get it put in you're still ahead of the game.

ive heard some builders say they work great, just a lot of work for the builder... some people wont bb sleeve a blaster cylinder....they say its too small of a casting to fit and still be solid...
