i bought these with the intention of using them but my banshee has stolen my credit card so im not going to use them. they need balljoints for some reason these dont fit. comes with longer tie rods. civic told me ricky stator part number - rm3003 Ricky Stator if you get 4 lowers you can run the banshee spindles and save some money on a conversion as well. asking 250 shipped usps with a tracking number. thanks!!

Re: sms arms

the P.O. may have been running some other spindles/hubs/brakes...honda ???

someone jump on this sweet deal !

Re: sms arms

im not sure awk, they are almost 15mm on the big end and 13mm on the small. i dont know what size the honda uses but seems way to big.

Re: sms arms

Those are most likely VW transporter or Mazda B2000 tie rod ends which are NOT the right taper for a yamaha. I don't like reaming any ball joint mount so I wouldn't recommend reaming to get these ball joints to fit....

The Ricky Stator RS3003 in yamaha taper is the M16 x 1.50 (fine thread) ball joint in the correct taper to fit banshee spindles. The "set back" on banshee spindles is different than blaster spindles so it may require that the upper be out of its socket quite a bit more to get the camber right but they'll work.

If you wanted to run blaster spindles you could get a Frap 2419 ball joints. They may need a fancy washer to go on the front but they SHOULD also bolt into those a-arms.

Re: sms arms

I'm interested.....exactly what would I need to install them on an 04 with factory hydraulic disk brakes? Since the possibility of them being used with Honda spindle's.....Is it possible to buy Honda taper ball joints and use TRX250R/TRX400ex spindles, brakes, hubs and wheels? I'd rather have some to use on my 01 and be able to use Honda parts from the arms out.

Re: sms arms

you need those lower ball joints and the Frap 2419 ball joints for the top. i dont know what size the ball joints on there fit it was just a guess they might fit the honda's.. also you would need some extended brake lines i think. or some off another quad that are longer.
