My son pulls the holeshot in the first moto
4 laps into it he's still in the lead with 1 lap to go
After going over a fast table he slows way down and gets passed and finishes second
He comes into the pits and he's got tears in his eyes
The first thing he says is my nerf bar broke and I think I broke my foot
He said he broke his nerf on the 3rd lap and then ran over his foot on the last lap
So at first I'm pissed....why would he ride with only 1 nerf and much less go that fast
Well after the medics looked at it and said it wasn't broke I relaxed a bit

After thanking God that he didn't get hurt I got to work trying to fix it
Doing the best I could with limited resources, I felt good about it and trust me he wouldn't ride it if I hadn't
Moto 2 goes like the first with another holeshot
And believe me, every time he went by I watched that nerf
He has a huge lead and haulin on lap 2
He comes around on lap 3 and dammit the nerf is broke
I instantly lit 2 cigs and started biting my nails
For the next 3 laps he riding as fast as ever and wins by a large margin
Now I don't want to bragg but do u realize how hard it would be to race with no footpeg, much less do it fast lol

I feel really lucky and blessed that all went well and no injuries.
I just need Ken too not only build the engines but also do the welding
