i got this bike running today and it sounds fine it shifts through all the gears i just wanted to know what is a good way to break this bike in we only fired it up on the stands so it doesnt have five minutes on the brand new motor so what are the best ways to break it in??

alright thanks i didnt know if i had to do something else since its a 4 stroke and im not that good with these bikes yet now that this ones done its on to my 125
i'd follow this advice.............

2s or 4s, I've NEVER believed in the run it like you stole it breakin. I'm not John Force. I like my parts to get "friendly" before I hammer on them.
Not knowing what all you did, I would change the oil after 1 hour run time, then again after one tank/ no more than 5 hrs. JMHO

well the mods are yoshimura trs 3 mil hot rods crank and 13:5:1 compression je piston and thats it
