Brakes

ok i dont understand what the norman spindles are. what makes them different from stock blaster spindles??

they have a adapter plate attached to them with allowes 02 and down spindles to use hydro calipers. 03 and up spindles are very hard to find by themselves

Need hubs too I think. I have some banshee hubs for mine. not sure if yfz hubs will work. maybe someone else can chime in on that.
The norman spindles are usually cheaper and easier to get than the 03+ spindles. But if you have a line on some go ahead.

so ima ak one more question.. Say im gonna take the entire front end off a yfz and put it on the blaster. (Everything means, spinldes, lines, calipers, hubs, MC.) What do i need to do in order to put it all on and ride?? like any modification?

Save yourself some money and frustration and buy norman420 spindles. They go for just over $100 ($115 I think) shipped. Cheaper than getting the 03+ spindles since most people will not sell them by themselves. The YFZ hubs WILL NOT work with norman's spindles. You need Banshee, Warrior, Raptor, or Blaster Hubs/Rotors. The YFZ Calipers will work or you could use calipers from the Banshee, Warrior, Raptor, Blaster. The master cylinder from any of them will also work. YFZ lines will not work without modification. They are too long. I know that from experience. You can also get cheap Braided Stainless lines from a Polaris Outlaw or Predator. They fit relatively well but you will need to fab a mount for the splitter (reguardless of which lines you go with you will need to do this) and the top part of the line is a little long and will need to be looped (under the hood) to take up some slack. I got my lines for $20 shipped for front and rears on ebay.

***Edit- Forgot to mention that Norman420 will also buy your old spindles back from you and save you a few more $$$$.

to clear things up Norman420 is a forum member , search for him and send a PM . 03 blaster set-ups are very hard to find , I was lucky getting my set , probably never find that deal again .

I think there was 419 other Norman's that signed up for Ebay b-4 me, even though that isn't my name. Just a handle given to me by a friend in reference to Norm Abrahm. I do alot of woodwork. Kept the same username on the forum in case someone was looking for any of my stuff on Ebay.
