Is there anyway i can make my blaster out run honda 400 ex with the 440 big borekit (my blaster is 240 bore with fmf fatty pipe wiseco piston and i have a kehin 34 mm pj carb jettin is 155 main with a 55 pilot what else couldi d....o?

get that cylinder ported and get a better pipe,
that fmf is a low/mid pipe
get a right bend pipe....factory7, dynoport, power pro's, trinity, ct

a +3 or 4 stroker crank

and go 14/38 gearing for more top speed, as i'm assuming you mean top speed

and it'll be closer, rider skills will determine the rest

Well when i got the bike it was bored do u think they would of had the cylinder ported? And if i got one of thoses pipes do u think it would keep with it

Only way to know if it was ported would be to look at the intake/exhaust. Post pics and we can tell you if it has been ported.

If you get the different pipe and the stroker as well as a regear it should be pretty neck and neck with equal riders

a "stroker" refers to the stroke of the piston TDC (top dead center) to bdc (bottom dead center)... A "stroker" is a new crank shaft and connecting rod that allows the piston to move up and down a little bit further for a little more power.

As for the regear thats just a matter of putting on different sprockets and a new chain.

no offence or anything dude but if u dont know what porting or a stroker crank is you will not be able to out run that machine.. with a proper power package you would whoop its ass, i have done it a lot of times. unless u can just pay someone a ton of money to do this for you the best advise i can give is do a ton of research and learn.

adding a stroler crank shaft is a easy job, Vitos makes a +3 mm stroker which fits right in, Hotrods do a +4 but you must have the cases trenched for it to fit. the +3 gives you around 7cc extra as well as longer stroke meaning better torque...torques wins races!

Porting is a MUST! you can unleash mega HP by porting, its basically improving the airflow of gas through the motor as well as adjusting the port timing of the motor, which makes the biggest difference.

That 34 carb will really work well with porting.

To get the best porting i would send it to a pro on this website. But the stroker crank you could probably do with a guide.

not if you are jetted correctly. you will be pushing the motor towards its limits so it will become a lot more unforgiving when it comes to poor building and bad jetting

here i am vs a pos 400 with my old stock jug that was ported by flotek and a 3mill stroker with good reeds and exhaust. its not even close, with some work u will SMOKE 400s
