why do blasters sound different than 2 stroke dirtbikes and why do 4pokes sound how they do and 2 strokes sound how they do i know 2 strokes rev higher but the sound is real sharp and crisp and 4pokes are soft and harmless BTW the first dirt bike i owned was a 2004 rmz 250 its a 4poke and i had to mix the gas and if i put straight gas in blue flames came out the pipe:-/:-/:-/

well, a 4 poke has 4 cycles in the engine, therefore making the engine run different, making it sound different, a 2 stroke only goes through 2 cycles, thats why it must have pre-mix, i don't know much more than that, i'd prolly ask a builder if u really needed to know
