crank first kick. mid throttle is pretty good but begging throttle and end throttle sucks. i have a 205 main jet 50 pilot jet and 1st notch on the needle. in neutral idles fine u give it throttle it hesitates then revs up and take a bit to settle. any suggestion???

a 205 main? do you have any mods on it? (exhaust, airfilter, reeds, etc...)
it might be running too lean

i have a 34mm keihin carb. vforce3 reeds, shearer exhaust, bored .030 over wiseco piston, high flow air box and uni filter

have you tried any bigger main jets?
being you have a high flow air box and uni, i would richen it. try a bigger jet like a 220 or 230. maybe even bigger. they are a cheap try. like 3 bucks a jet

also if it take a little to settle, have you check for any airleaks?

yes i have checked for for air leaks. i will double check tomorrow when its day light.

i have a 205 and they only go up to a 220. i noticed when i took off the spark plug it was really dry and almost asy lookin.

holy crap i have a 35mm keihin pwk with a big bore with a high flow airbox and lots of mods and i run a 50 pilot and 170 main a 205 is huge and you dont even have a big bore you are deffinitly way to rich.

if u read the sticky post about carbs the u will know that elevation humidty and much other things play a role in jeting. so no i dont think im rich or else my spark plug would show.

oh, wow. i was thinking of the stock mikuni carb.
than try to see if your float is getting caught a little. or maybe drop the needle down a notch and see if it makes a difference. or a smaller jet.

yeah. being the biggest is a 220, maybe try a 195 and see how it goes. also, whats your oil ratio?

but it thought it is rich when the spark plug is dry and ashy. 32:1

yeah. if its too rich, than you have to make it leaner. the bigger the jet, the richer. the smaller the jet, the leaner.

yeah sorry for my mistake. i ment to say that it is lean now and it seems i need bigger still.

yeah i know how to jet a carb where i live i am only 766ft above sea level lots of air. i'm telling you a 205 is way to rich. believe me or not i'm just trying to help
