yeah. it could be either one. i would get a size smaller and a size bigger. and run them both, put in a new plug, ride 15 hard minutses on it and do the plug test.

all im saying is i have a big bore which needs more air and fuel than yours would need and my carb is bigger than yours. you do not have a big bore so you wont need as much fuel. i would leave your pilot if it idles fine, but if your elevation is somewhat close to mine try a 175 and see if it is better and if it seems to run cleaner with the smaller jet (175) try doing a plug chop and see where your at.

my elevation is below sea level. i live in southeast georgia. i noticed when it revs there is a loud pinging noise and when its idle its really smooth.

ok. when u start it up do u see any exhaust fumes or anything? rev it up a little bit and put your hand where your head gasket is. if u feel pressure, than your head is loose, causing an airleak with caused mine to not settle to idle. if it is, tighten up the 6 nuts on your head and start it up and see what happens. it would run a lot better

its real sluggish when u start off and until about half throttle. mid is great but wot sukcs too!!

ok try this put your needle clip in the 3rd position (middle) and try a 175 main and start it up and see how it runs.

also remember that the higher you are on the needle the leaner it will run and the lower you are the richer it will run.

hey i tryed the 175 and middle ont the needle and a big noticable difference in low mid and high and throttle response. when letting of the throttle it just takes a bit to sttle dowand its not like just steady rpm's.

there is still a lil preignition i think u call it in the exhaust. only when some throttle not quite sure how much.

what would be high. because when u take the air screw in it idkes up and visa versa. so i did mess with a lil both ways. im just learning about this 2 stroke stuff man so im a newbie.
