My blaster takes forever to warm up even though it was sitting in it's previous owners pole barn for who knows how long.
Anyway when I try to roll the throttle on like my KX125 it has minimal to OK power till at least 3rd gear then it pulls and it screams just like a blaster should. After about 10 hot laps in a gravel parking lot it clears up a bit, but I gotta be on the pipe to be able to move real fast like you should be able to. Is there something I'm not aware of? The only thing I have thought of doing is replaceing the plug. or mabey my carb dosent have the right jets there whatever Keihin puts in there OKO 30mm. it also has a toomey b1 set of pipes if that helps

Any help or insight is grateful thanks....

You always want to do the standard test first. Compression and leak down test. Take your carb apart and clean it like your going to eat off of it. When you have it apart, see what size pilot and main you have in it. When you you install the carb, make sure your air filter is clean. Let us know what size pilot and main jet you have and we can help you from there.

Total stock motor, did the compression test fine there. Toomey B1 pipe kit. I might take the carb off if it persists. I really dont wanna have to yank the carb off again unless I gotta though. the main jet is a 152 and pilot is a 45 or so I think. It was probably acting up cause it was sitting in my cousins pole barn for 6 months. thanks for the advice Also what is a leak down test exactly?

An OKO is a Kehein knockoff , copycat. X-2 on cleaning carb and airfilter. How does the plug look? Did you drain old fuel or just add to it? You can't guess at what size jets you have if you want correct answers on jetting.
Odds are good that symptoms you describe are how a too big of carb for application acts. Far as I can see pipe is only mod, maybe filter.

How about the air filter. Stock or aftermarket? Lid or no lid? If it set all that time with gas in the carb, it will need to be cleaned . You will have to clean all passage ways. Old gas can really clog up a carb.

I have a plug on order haven't taken the old one out just yet cause it's at my work right now but I'm going to. Drained the old stuff and is running on dominator amzoil. The filter is Toomey's/Uni stage 3 with no lid. The first time I just took the carb off just to see what jets were, and lost the slip of paper I wrote it on and forgot to get my carb and choke cleaner to clean it as well silly me. Probably take it off again and be more thouro.

The pilot jet as very small passage ways and holes that clog easy. Get a twist tie for a loaf of bread and stripe the stuff of the center wire. It works good for cleaning the passageways and holes in the jets. Use safety googles and be carful. Carb cleaner in the eyes hurts alot.
