Can i pull the old one and insalle another one just by pullinng that side off

To be honest, your better off waiting for someone else to tell you. I know how much of a pain it can be to knock that seal out without the crank and bearing in the side. I will venture to guess that it is possible, expecially installing it. However removing the old might give you a run for your money. Like I said I have never done it so your better off waiting for someone else. Also consider pulling the cylinder jug anyway to drain all of the oil out from the crank area. Your better off doing that first anyway. If you see the crank submerged in oil, either the seal went bad, or you have a cracked case. Most likely it is the seal. Wish you luck :)

if your not losing tranny fluid then its the mix oil and if you mix gas and oil in the same container over and over and dont use it all every time you can build up a heavey oil gas mix which any extra oil will be dispensed out the exhaust. clean you tank on the bike and start over with fresh mix with quality oil not from circle k . a little oil around the exhaust manifold is not a big deal unless your losing tranny fluid

are you running pre mix or the injection??? also what 2 stroke oil are you running it it?? and how is the machine rode??...

i ask this because if your runing cheap 2 stroke oil you wil lget alot of residue built up, i run klotz techniplate and ride the hell outta my machine, you can deam near eat out of my lrd pipe,

an i ask how its rode.. if its not rode hard it will load up on the oil and not clear out, only time mine smokes is when its cold, and a little puff here and there, due to ridinmg hard and good oil

running lightly + cheaper oil + leaky header = oily mess

run some high temp rtv around the joint and it should stop the leak

rod semi hard son is 14....still injected on his bike....so it gets yamaha oil and i just ceaked his tranny and it is lossing fluid....now what will this hurt any thing if tranny fluid is cheaked reagerly ????????????????

another question...

when your clutch side crank seal goes, your tranny fluid will start to smell like gas..

otherwise, its normal to loose a tad of tranny oil through the overflow.. How fast are you loosing it? and are there any leaks around the engine or output shaft by the chain that would account for the oil loss?
