best way

i want to repaint my a-arms and hubs. i want my a-arms gloss black (gf likes) and yellow hubs. what is the best paint to use? primer? clear coat? method? let me know what you think. also its very cold where i am right now so i will not do it until the weather is gonna be about 45 or 50. how long should i let it cure? please let me know

prep prep prep then prime few coats of base and a few coats of clear....that might be to cold to paint in....check the can out and see what it recomends

Prep is the biggest part of painting. After that, lay down some primer, then lights coats of the gloss black with the last being heavier, and then give it a few good coats of clear. I always use rustoleum, it holds up good for me. As far as the temp goes, I would recommend at least over 50 but the warmer the better.
