i wanna get 21x12x8 paddle tires. would 20x11x8 paddles work in place of a 21x12x8 paddles?? also anyone run the ams sandsnake or the sand gecko how where they i need something for under 65$ can the width and height change on a tire?

20x11x8 paddle tires are a LOTTTTT easier to come by and will work GREAT on a modified blaster (stock blaster would have trouble pulling paddles in deep sand).

Stick to the 8 paddle or less tires.... the 10 paddles and up are really tough to pull. I have ITP sandstars 20x11x8 mounted on stock rims. I've only taken them to Busco Beach before and run them so the knowledge of their true performance in soft stuff is limited. The blaster seemed to pull them well though.

Really cool I've been trying to find an excuse to buy e'm If you goole sand shark rear ATV tires you get a wide range of prices from 42-58 bucks and the link has your first desired tire sizes but I'd have to check

im gonna get sandstars but will the 20x11x8 be able to replace a 21x12x8 size tire without changing the rim?

The first number is the outside diameter of the tire. So a 20x11x8 is 20 inches tall, a 21x12x8 is 21 inches tall. So the 20's will lower your rear end 1/2"

The second number is the width of the tire casing at its widest. 20x11x8 is 11 inches wide, 21x12x8 is 12 inches wide.

The third number is rim diamater or "slug" hole as it's sometimes referred to. Both tires have 8" slug holes in them so they're interchangable.

You can stick 20x11x8 tires on the same rims 21x12x8 tires came off of with no trouble at all.

99lrdblaster said that wouldint work because of the width difference

he doesnt come around here anymore for a reason bud. dont listen to him, he likes to argue about anything said. rim size is all that matters.
