I have about an acre out behind the house.
A track it is not, and I do try to grow grass there, but it is enough room to test and practice the bikes:
Even have enough room back there that I can teach the kids to shoot...
OOPS!
Naww, he's just faking... Let's put the guns away and back to riding...
So the best thing is that I can go from my back yard to a drive in theater (yup, we still have one around here) for some good runs during the day:
And from there have easy access to the whole country side. Things are different here in Canada. For the most part, people allow you access.
Very rare for property around here to be posted "no trespassing". I let my neighbors cross my property to have access to trails.
Even agricultural land owners will let you use their access roads if you follow their rules. Slow down, keep off the fields and don't damage anything.
There is fire roads through the woods and an old rail line that allows rapid access to long distances.
Even better, near by we have a track:
It is located on First Nations Reserve property and they are kind enough to share, like they have been doing since 1594.
And beyond that, we have the best track of all, the whole country side. I can pretty much traverse the province off road.
Yup, my Blaster went through that.
We have it good here. We have to look after it. Respect land owners property, keep our bikes quiet, not tear up roads.
