i wanna go wider with my blaster before i go longer swing arm, wanna go cheap and get wheel spacers but also heard they stress out the lug bolts way to much and can break, anyone had any trouble with spacers??

Depends on what riding you are doing. Personally I just ran wider rear douglas rims and it gave me a solid +2 or more in the rear. Flipping the stock front rims will give you +2. Wheel spacers and flipping rims will put additional pressure on the spindles.....only natural and the basic principles of leverage. However if you are just doing general recreational riding you will probably be fine. Now if you are thinking about MXing and taking tabletops......that's another story.

flipped rims arent ideal for MX since it will wear on you more and will put more pressure on the spindle/bearings. So yes, it probably is why your bearings go so quickly.

I'd just go with spacers. there cheap and i have no problem with thm at all and it looks nice. 4" for two wheels is only $27 3" for two wheels is $26 and 5" for two wheels is $30 and thoes include shipping on ebay. heres a pic of mine with them.

Maier front plastic, 240 big bore kit, moose front shock cover, hand guards, ac front bumper painted flat black, fly racing bars, pro circut grips, pro circut pipe, ac nerf bars, jetted carb, monster graphics, 18 inch fast trackers in the back (tires), prm rear grab bar, 4 inch wheel spacers in the front, 5 inch wheel spacers in the back, Wheels painted flat black. Soon to come- lime green frame and white gas tank.

depending on year you cant flip front wheels on 03 +

You can flip the rims on an 03-06.You need to get either flush mount valve stems and install them or you can flip the existing stem upside down and drill a hole on the other side and install a new stem.

Cheap is not always better,in fact it almost never is better.A-Arms are the way to go,they cost more but will hold up much better. For a few dollars more you can get a banshee axle and that will get you just under 4 inches wider,so about 1 3/4 a side.

how has bump steering not been brought up? your handling is MUCH better with wider a-arms then spacers because spacers throw off the geometry of the suspension, but if u are trail riding, go for it.

If u have some fundage, i would do spacers in the rear and a/m arms up front

This is true with the bump steer. I'm just strong enough that it doesn't matter for me. I find the bigger problem to be that it decreases the turning radius a whole bunch.

A solid set of A-arms are crazy expensive which is why I didn't opt for them. If I kept my Blaster long term, I'd do it, but I'll probably eventually sell a lot of my sh*t to pay off loans before getting back into quads and look into a something real legit like a Walsh/Custom bike as a fun build then maybe a Banshee resto XC as a fun build.

with regard to the added strees, i have seen it once when a friends blaster snapped one (only one!?) of the rear spacer bolts. but i thinks its very rare. its one of the first things you must do to a blaster as far as im concerned

Yea, I'd rather bust a spindle which is an easy fix compared to rolling a stock blaster braking into a high speed turn. I fee like I'm on a sit and spin on a stock blaster. :o

i'm running a gforce. i flipped the quad pretty bad with it, bent a rear rim and popped the rear tire off the bead and the axle is still perfectly straight. so i'd say they are decent
