awe man,im out for a while

thats what my last piston looked like after 6 years lol

i think you pro f*cked up man and did the piston to bore clearance wrong

take it to mine and biotch

From the piks, it didn't. The rings gummed up and stuck. Theres no stick marks on the piston or the cylinder that I can see. There are no marks on the head or the cylinder that I can see that looks like it was leaking either.

thats what i was saying with my benol post, my rings got stuck and looked exactly the same.

are you using a NGK B8ES plug, when fuel is premixed with 2-stroke oil, the octane rating is reduced by about 2 points. An 87 octane fuel would therefore become 85 octane.Second, fuel evaporates and loses its octane rating when it lays in a fuel tank or in a plastic jug. A "premium", 91 octane fuel will see its octane rating reduced to unusable levels after as little as three weeks. Fuel with a lower octane rating would obviously have an even shorter usable life.Too low an octane rating will create detonation and pre-ignition which can damage the piston crown and even melt a hole through it. make sure your using the rite plug and high octane gas

:Dall them carbon marks below the rings indicate it was leaking past the seal ie the rings werent sealing tight in the cylinder, it could be a worn cylinder or worn rings or both. either that or the rings are sticking in the piston due to carbon build up and there fore not making a good seal. another thing is if its getting too hot the rings might be sticking in the piston as the two metals react differently to heat was the alot of scratching on the cylinder? what im getting at is if the piston was ''picking up'' on the cylinder anywhere, usualy near a port, exhaust port mostly, these scratches can score the ally on the piston causing the ring to stick in its groove, this will loose you compression and give you the blowby effect youve got.
you can reuse headgaskets if you like but sometimes it will bite you back if it leaks, some guys dont belive in buying new things, i know of this one guy who had an old van, if ever it wouldnt star he would whip out the push rods and straighten them on the anvil with a hammer. i know another guy who instead of buying suspension bushes he will , make them from carpet underlay, and if he needs brake pads he uses the old on as a template draws round it onto a landrover brake pad and cuts it out with the grinder.
dont beat yourself up for reusing that gasket brotha theres people outthere who are alot lot rougher than that.

Well i think i had a air leak.cause my idle would always pin out,and i could never get it to constant idle

now for the rings there not stuck. and they fit tight in the cylinder still
just alot of carbon built up around them

theres not one single scratch on the cylinder

just a nice burn mark on the side wall of the cylinder along with a clean patch on the head as u can see,(both same side) seems it was getting hot there or something

i was using BR8ES NGK and 91 octane gas
