I'm running a 300 main with these mods, full shearer pipe, uni air filter, and the airbox lid removed..... i live in va and the temperature is hovering around 20-30 degrees most days........ i cant do a plug chop because there is 3ft of snow on our driveway.... am i lean? or just right? It doesn't fall back down to idle very fast, i adjusted the airscrew screw and that seemed to fix it..... i dont want to blow it up considering i dont have the money to rebuild it at the moment.... thanks and YES I DID SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!

i would guess you may be a touch lean, i have a 300 in now with a power pros and the lid modified not all the way removed. our temps are a little colder but close.
find out what slot your needle is in and go from there...
I'm running at the richest setting right now with my pro circuit, 270 main, open airbox....it sounds rich when its cold and smokes so bad, lol, but it goes away when its fully warmed up.

the proper way it to do a plug chop and find out yourself.....anyone can throw jet numbers out there and every bike is diff....get a new plug take the bike out to a long road and do some wot plug chops
sounds lean to me (taking awhile to settle back to idle) and I would look at your idle jet and see if its big enough, then look for any possible air leaks
were you not listening? he said he cant do plug chops right now due to a sh*tload of snow. haha
