its a personal preference, -although daniel is right- if you are riding and find you never even get into 6th gear, but would like more accel, you could go with a 12 tooth- or to not go quite so extreme, keep the stock front and go with a 40 in the back. if you ride and are always keepin it pegged in 6th gear and wouldn't mind losing some acceleration in exchange for top speed, get the 14 front.
or do like the rest of us and get 14 up front, 40 in the rear. you can't really feel the decrease in acceleration, but you notice some more top speed.
