aftermarket 28mm vs. 30mm carb

I was just wondering for those of you that have either of these size carbs if you could post up the SOP results and if you thought it was worth it or not. This winter I am going to tear down my blaster and repaint the frame and cut off some of the useless tabs and clean everything up. I am going to get a shearer pipe and was thinking about a good carb to go with it. Maybe get a flotek trail ported cylinder also.

It sounds like a 30mm would be good for your set up.

i had a 28mm mikuni tm flatslide and i liked it..i got porting with it so im not sure how much diffrence it makes

I run a Keihin PWK 28mm, it seemed like a big boost over the stock carb. With your level of mods, the 28mm Keihin or 30mm OKO should be fine.

well if you want a trail pipe id look elsewhere , some carbs are much better than others ust remember this simple rule:
mikuni= junk ... keihin pkw =good
