350$ 2001 Blaster

relocated the key to under the seat..

First i measured and used a compass
Next i used a drill and a wood drill bit to start off with holes.
Then connected them and evened it out.

havent updated this in a while so heres whats new...

trx 250r carb is on the way
throttle cable
intake manifold for 34-35 mm carbs
72.5mmpiston and gasket
and my cylinder and head should be back from ken this week

found out that it has a 240 sleeve in the stock cylinder
its semi ported but not the best so im going to do a diy port job

Transmission, crank, berings, counter balancer and shift forks are all in. Going to close the cases with yamabond.

in the next few days im going to do the clutch oil mod. drill 2 holes in the outer clutch basket to allow more oil to get to the clutch plates. will post step by step pics..

Frame is deep gloss blue by rostoleum

left case with trany and new crank, connecting rod, and bearings ready to put together.

some parts that are painted black

plastics with automotive bondo to get out scratches... ready to be sanded then painted..

DG front bumper painted the blue and black.

watched a KOR bottom end rebuild vid and he showed this cool little mod to allow more oil to get to your clutch so i did it!

drill a 2:1 pattern around the basket and at the end you will end up with 2 2s or 2 1. ex 2 holes then 1 hole then 2 holes...

lol thanks. the old pic was from the day i bought it in sept. this was a from a few days ago.. motr wise its bone stock never touched 125psi.

Cut the air box and put a Chevrolet Cavalier air filter in. Got the idea from JPMartin86. Heres his link on how to do it.

Some parts painted and ready for clear coat...

Some parts i have gotten in the past week or two.. Trx 250R Carb 34mm (Thanks awk08 For finding this for me) intake manifold 34-35mm carbs, throttle cable, jets and needle

Parts I got in today!..Gaskets, oil, loctite, spark plugs, main jets, pilot jets

Go the Trx 250r carb apart and put in a 165 main and 45 pilot to start off.

started getting it in to a roller..finishing up on painting and waiting for cylinder, and piston.. should be rolling by next weekend...

some updates...got the whole front end ready...finishing up painting the rear shock, hubs, carrier, and swing arm, and plastics then it will be a complete roller....waiting on my new case bolts from motosport. taking forever... got my cylinder, piston, and gasket set back from ken... will post pics in a few..

here it is as a roller... bottom end should be coming this week from ken..should be all done this weekend.. couldnt get one of the case bolts all the way in so i gave it to ken to do it right. will post pics this weekend as it is currently at a relatives where i ride it...
