Picked up this blaster about a week ago. Pts a complete roller and has the bottom end (needs crank bearings and crank rebuild), stock bore cylinder but the old piston wasn't included. also a toomey pipe. what do you thing about the head? Bore or Hone because of the rust drips. Hows the ports? Stock? comments...

looks like someone cleaned up the ports, and the top port looks like it was opened up.
 
as long as the cylinder isn't out of round and there are no deep scuffs I don't see why you couldn't hone it and keep the stock bore.

just measure it with a micrometer to be sure.
 
Nope i cleaned it all up with a wire wheel. Previous owner sprayed reg paint on the mid pipe so it was hard to clean that up but its good now and i hit it with some high heat paint. I noticed the diff. Makes me wanna throw fmf in the garbage lol.
 
started cleaning up the plastics for pain. Sanded them with 220. also used some gorilla glue and JB weld to fix the cracks and deep scratches.
