What do you guys think of this carb and would it fit with my mods?
what modifications would i need to do with my boots etc to make this fit?
and is there a 101 on how to jet this thing?

is CPW the brand? got a link or a pic? u should be able to squeeze a 30mm into ur stock boot, or you can heat it up or even dremel a little out to make it fit. another option would to buy the $60+ a/m intakes for bigger carbs

not sure what CPW is, thats what it was listed as. maybe someone can chime in

Thats an OKO 30mm carb. It is sold through Carburetor Parts Warehouse (CPW), so they just decided to stick their logo on the bowl. lol. That carb will work well for the mods you have listed and will give you an increase in throttle response. It is basically a knock-off of the popular Keihin PWK 28mm carb with a bore 2mm larger than the Keihin.

This carb uses Keihin jets and is easy to tune. Also, it will fit into your stock engine-side intake boot with no mods. You will have to stretch out the airbox boot, but it can be done with a heat gun and a little patience and it will work.

With the mods you are running, I'd say start with a 45 pilot, 148 main, needle clipped in the center, and tune from there.

Apart from a couple guys having trouble with the chrome plating on the throttle slide coming off, I haven't heard anything bad about them. Scottj77's cousin has a Blasty with a 30mm OKO on it and I was impressed with the build quality. Its a good buy for the money as long as you're not spending over, say, $ 75.00.
