a Vito's +3 Stroker is great because of price and reliability. I personally don't use it but alot of people on here do. I was almost about to buy one until I figured out that all I needed was new seals...

I wouldn't ever pay for a +4 Stroker because it requires case trenching. The rice of them are too expensive. The $190 for the Vito's +3 is plenty. Its a bih difference I hear.

yeah you cant beat the easeyness of a vitos, BUT if i ever buy another one im sending to oconner so he can put it on his bench centers and true it up.

can't say i've heard anything bad about any stroker crank company, i'd make sure it was good and true before i'd install it though, i'd be more worried about get a good port/head job to match your new crank

im allready in the process of buying an agg trail ported flotech setup

do you NEED to have a port and polish in order to put in the crank or will it still work?

it'll work, but not to it's full potential. you have to worry about your squish setting and port timing i believe.

No, not NEEDED. The Vito's comes with a spacer that makes it work, but porting corrects the port timing, which isn't quite right with just a spacer. Head work also allows the spacer to be discarded.

well i know the vitos comes with a spacer so im not concerned of clapping the head, but yeah the younger guys need to keep that in mind before doing this haha

i thought you meaning running no spacer lol. there's a guy on here who's done it but i sure wouldn't without closely checking everything.


and you shouldn't run into any detonation with the spacer under the jug though

+2 on having the vito's cranks trued if you opt for one, i had one installed that wasn't and it ended up eating a bearing...
