thanks man and i knoow hahah i actually have the same red vinyl material, found a piece that will fit it at a crafts store for $2.50! just gotta get the dame thing on, today after i finshed replacing all those bearings and rotors and all i went to ride and the motor decided to sputter and breakup bad so now it sits yet again as i figure this out =/

just try cleaning the carb out and stuff if its been sitting.

and it looks really good man, should be a decent trail machine

thanks guys! i just redid the seat today, not an easy seat to recover but its much better than it was! ill get pics up of it sometime, now i gotta figure out whats wrong with the damn motor..

and that sucks just cause, they are very funn quads def hard choice between it and the blasty because its soo much better for the trails

thanks alot guys! but nah i dont wannt a bumper or anything else for it as of now, i wanna keep it running good and keep it clean, eventually im gunna want a bigger more powerful quad of some sort so i dont see the need to dump more money into this than i need to hahaha

1st, fix that sig... you're riding a 4 stroke :p

2nd, yeah, fix the seat lol. I did regular vinyl on my seat too, I just went over the old cover in case I screwed up, I used carpet type contact cement and then stretched and stapled it with a power stapler that plugs into 120v.

I really am trying to stay to the nothing good to say don't say it at all theme lol. tires is about all that stands out to me and red fly bars it looks like I guess the grips too lol. exhaust I can see, but to me "restore" means back to stock. build/rebuild is usually aftermarket. that could possibly just be an opinion tho... no offense man, it is a nice ride. just for me, I did a mini chopper (my 1st rebuild ever early this year)

to this, in a month, outta pocket was only like $50 to redo it... the pitbike I put more money into as I got better parts for it, but I gotta find pix of it, if I even still have them. but basically I blacked it out too and just cleaned it up. I fixed brakes on both and cleaned carbs (neither were running) then just rode um a little and sold them for mini quads which I still have one that I'm hoping to sell and get my son a better mini quad

that was my 1st seat, the 450 was my second and came out better, you don't see the staples...

I'm not trying to ride u, just trying to show you how I did my 1st rebuild.. motor I painted too but didn't keep my pix up after I sold the bike those are 2 of the few I have left. got it in feb, sold it blacked out in april iirc maybe march

not to thread jack, just trying to give u something to think about for your rebuild. not that there's anything wrong with yours, just giving you some ideas :D

started figuring out the motor yet?

fresh plug? good fuel? clean carb? etc etc....

same basic troubleshooting process as a blaster

hahah my bad i guess it is more of a rebuild never thought of it that way haha. but fuel good air cleaner good carb waas cleaned twice and it did get a little better, but its come down to it needs to be rejetted. ive ordered new jets should be up and running by the end of the week! :D

sorry to bumo this thread back up but thought id update you guys! after cleaning the carb 4 times and trying different jets and needle positions finally found out the accelorator pump was the problem! it was engaging to quick and flooding the motor, took it off and bent the lever a bit and put main jet from 125 to 130 ruinning amazing now :D
