I have also brought another bike that I will be using and not turning into a strip down project as I will be wanting to use the bike on weekends and at Xmas on my 3 week holiday. Brought a 2007 Kawasaki KX125 with a FMF gold series fatty and powercore 2. Renthal fatty bars. Printouts of rebuilds and parts history. Come with a like new extra back wheel and a old jug that needs re-coated, 2 extra new filters. Bike stand.

Brought the Bike stock with the FMF exhaust on it for $2500 NZ thats $1768 US. I havent added costs up but will have a look tonight.
 
New owner is very happy with it.

Hello Mark and everyone, just joined so I'll keep you updated on this Blaster as we take it on new adventures here in Marlborough (top of the South Island). Your input is much appreciated as I'll be making various adjustments etc.

Could not be happier with the purchase, made a 900km round trip in 13hours over the very challenging alternative (due to quake damage) inland route - dropped off the YTM225DRS I had sold, and collected the Blaster a further 1km down the road - so turned out perfectly.

Wanted a quad my sisters could also learn to ride on, they're 10 and have been playing around on trials (OSET 20") and trails bikes (PW80 etc) so this will be a new experience. They are somewhat used to a clutch having ridden my Sherco ST125 trials bike and demo KX65, KLX110L - both are tall for their age (twins) but don't think they're ready to ride it just yet - with lightened flywheel, the power comes on really fast!
Was considering getting either an LT80 or LTF160 for them but then saw this and had win it - can't remember last time I was so nervous watching an auction come to an end!

Only previous experience I have with a sports quad is a few unsupervised hours hooning around the trails on a rented Blaster 17 years ago in Cape Town, South Africa - that joyride came to an end once I slid off the trails and into a stump, breaking some steering component.

How are the raptor shocks on the blasty? Are they a direct bolt on swap or? And what about that cnc thumb throttle. Same thing or?
 
Aftermarket parts are not always bolt on as I found out. ie the front dg frame gaurd needed to be trimmed to make bumper fit, had to make 2 slots in frame skid plate to clear the nerf bar mounts, make my own mount for the aftermarket airbox that should have mounted with included mount. and list goes on.
