250r, yz125/250 carbs

anyone have any suggestions as to which one would be better on my blaster? anyone know the stock carb sizes for these bikes? i saw someone on the forum, don't remember who, has a 250r carb and filter setup. would it be better to remove my airbox and go this way? what are the possible repercussions?

You can use most any carb off a 2 stroke. As long as it fits your boot. The stock size for a yz 125 is 38mm. Not sure about a 250.

yz 125 carb will fit up just right because i have one and its the same just biggerthe bowl hits the clutch puller though i think i dont know though ill check but it fits up just perfect

Well i have a bigger carb. i belive it came from a 1987 honda cr 250.

well i have airbox lid removed, boysen reeds, fmf pipe, dg silencer, and want to do a mild port & polish in the near future. what size carb would be best for me?

30-34 would work. You probably don't want to go much bigger than that though.
