You are correct. That pic is of the stock motor. Ive been waiting for an LA Sleeve kit for 8 months or so now. They keep telling me 3 weeks...3 weeks.....Still waiting, but thats what Denny @ Flotek recommended. So waiting for the best at this point. But open to suggestions to another kit besides Vitos if anyone recommends one?

LA sleeve has been saying 3 weeks now for about as long as you've been waiting with no end in sight...
The LA sleeve port layout is superior but don't just lay vito's cylinders out to dry... they're still superior to a stock cylinder, even a stock cylinder which has been punched out with a 240 "sleeve kit". The vito's needs a little work to pay out some power but it's not chopped liver by any means.

This is the response I got today from Nick @ LA Sleeve. Hopefully there is truth to this statement.

Interesting. Any idea on the cost of the new setup? Someone said the cost was going to "significantly" increase.
I heard the same when I was talking to one of the Reps. He said could be in upwards of $850. Supposed to come with a Billet Head.
If LA Sleeve lets you down, and you really don't want to go with a Vito's 240 (I'm not sure why you wouldn't, they are good) CT racing also makes a nice 240 kit.
Thanks Prime. Denny @ Flotek suggested the LA Sleeve Kit. But never the less, Nick @ LA Sleeve has been giving me the same line of BS for over 8 months now.....Now he wont even return my calls. All I ask for it honesty, and its now two weeks past the date to where he said he would have the kit shipped. PITA!!!!
Good news. My Credit Card has been charged and the LA Sleeve kit has been shipped. Ill post pics when it arrives.
well that's nearly the same as the old price.... Did you agree to purchase it at the old price before they told you they were on back order?
I did have the order placed when they were on back order. So they might have honored that. Good point!
Just got off the phone with LA Sleeve. It did in fact ship out yesterday. However they are sending it to my house and not Denny, after asking them to do so. Anyways...now it has to be shipped to Flotek and have more downtime. One step closer though!
Just an update. I got the kit the other day. I sent it off to Denny @ Flotek. Ill take pics as soon as it gets back.
