2004 Honda TRX450r

I dont wanna look "uncreative" ahaha. I think if I do have the extra money, I was gonna go all black, meaning my frame and plastics, then I would accent with blue rad hoses, and red a arms, red sunlins, red end grips, and possibly a red powdercoated sprocket.
 
if you like top-end power go with a HRC cam, thats what I run and I love it!
it does not make a ton of power down low, but it makes amazing power up top with great over rev
 
yeah my new hrc cam gave me a pleasant grin today it pulled and pulled.. ull love at and if u look around on the .org u can find one cheap... lol i got mine free on there
 
Didn't have time to put pics on yesterday, but I am now. Brand New Alba Racing +4 axle, lifetime warranty (bending or breaking)=$190

i'm keeping my eye on this build! can't wait to see more progress and more pics! and if you don't mind me asking, how much did you get this for? i seen you got it from Lexington and that is about 3-4 hours from me give or take. and let me know if you spot any deals on fourwheelers in my area! reps on the build you're doing, looks like you're getting right along with it other than that damn pivot bolt.

The motor is out! took my mechanic 3 hours to get out! I traded my 400ex for this, but the guy had it up for $2400. I had little knowledge on the noise it made when i got it, i just thought it was a timing chain, which it was, but the crank also wobbled...I will let you know man, Im right across the river from Louisville!

damn i bet if someone would have paid 2400 for that they'd have been pissed!! but atleast you've got the biggest part done, you actually got a 450 (which considering the cost i consider an accomplishment!). and i didn't know you were that close bro! you have to be one of the closest members on here to me.

Do you ride at any tracks? Thats all I do, if I ride trails, I'll take my RZR4. Got some more pics of today! Didnt get as mcuh as I planned, i decided to disassemble the head, take clutch cover off, and take my 10 minute break, by that time, it was alkready 5:45, and I had to push all the machines back in the shop...I'll get pics up asap.
 
I wanna know what color I should go with on the frame/sub frame. My plastics are black, except my hood, its a V2 Maier hood, that I painted red (textured). I was thinking Black Frame, red a arms......Just let me know your opinions, will try putting a good idea together...

nah other than the flat track me and some of my buddies made i never touch a track, only trails. and some progress is better than none!

if it were me i would do metallic red frame, black swingarm/a-arms, metallic red axle carrier (if carrier is seperate from swingarm), and some more little odds and ends in black or metallic red. by metallic red i mean a red sort of like maroon but not quite as dark.
 
My carrier is a T&T racing carrier, its polished aluminum, and you dont seem uch off it, I will do Metallic red frame, black a arms, stock color swing arm, red chain and sprocket, red brake master cylinder cap, and so on...good idea, im putting it to use.

Will be getting more pics up on Monday. I'm gonna tear frame down, a arms, and anything else getting powdercoated. Honda red Frame, Black A arms, and Honda red bead lock rings. Good thing is the guy is pretty much 3 miles down the road, and I have seen his samples, they look phenomenal!
