That's a good chunk of change right there in work + gaskets, bearings, seals etc.. Would like to see the bike it's going in. Not knowing much about the cr250 so bare with me here im a student to 2 strokes, but was the exhaust timing lowered to increase compression, and or bottom end?? (trail bike?). Then head work needed to be done to fix squish and as well as working on the transfers to fix port timing from cylinder being lowered? Thinner base gasket also? prob not since everything was worked in?
