So i got this blaster for 400. It needed a entire rear break asembly, front plastics, TORs emlinator kit, carb rebuild, two front hubs and bearings, new a arm bushings, and new motor mounts, carb boot, exhaust rubber piece to conect the fatty and they slip on. I paid 300 for all the parts. Do you guys think i got a good deal? :-/

Show us some pics! Let's see what kind of Blaster you ended up with. I'd say it was a fair deal, but I've seen better. Still, you weren't ripped off like I was the first time I paid $ 900.00 for a Blaster that ended up needing a complete engine rebuild. X(

Most of us who have bought a Blaster for $ 500.00 or less that needed work, or those of us who paid $ 1000.00 or less for a nice running one can say we got good deals, IMO.

i would saw it is a good deal. $700 and if itt runs like a champ thats a pretty good deal. when i bought my 2001 blaster i payed $900 adn it eas good when i bought it. ofcourse now that i have ridden it i have to rebuild it, in the shop right now.

Well I dont think its to bad a deal if you got it all up and running for about 700 I picked my blaster up for 4 bills and it needed a lot of the same things. Rear brakes werent working, it definetly needed a tune up and a few other minor things. After all the things i have added I am in it probably right around 700 or so and I feel pretty good about the deal. I just posted up my budget blaster build in the custom fab section so you can kinda see where i ended up with it so far at least. The modding bug has bit me though so I doubt this is nothing but the beginning for me lol.

I was not able to see your pic so maybe you can post something on photobucket dot com and then give us the link to check it out. I recently bought a 2001 all stock for $650 and it needed back brakes...also swapped out some stock items for some nice aftermarket items, then bought the hydraulic back brake kit from AWK08...so for about $850 I now have a very nice running Blaster. To me your price point sounds reasonable enough...it will last you for a long time and you will definitely get your $1000 worth of fun out of it.
